Restaurant Review- Lobsta Land

Lobsta Land Restaurant, Gloucester, Massachusetts Extremely busy popular restaurant! Arrived at 8 pm, told 40 minute wait. We were seated in 10 minutes! Pleasant but hurried service. Started our meal with warm rolls, butter and a small container of olive tapenade. The tapenade was a tasty addition. For our appetizers we choose a special, Portuguese Spicy Little Neck Clams ($12.95). They were delicious (only 9 clams) the broth which consisted of chorizo, garlic and small bits of onion was amazing. We also had a cup ($5.95) of clam chowder. The chowder was New England style (milky not thick and creamy) with lots of clams and potatoes. One of the best chowders I’ve had in years. Entrees consisted of Fish & Chips ($15.95), haddock was fried to perfection, light and flaky, fries were also crispy and hot! It also came with homemade cole slaw, again, some of the best in Gloucester! I tried the Lobsta Land Pub Steak ($18.95) served with a salad, and mashed potatoes. The Caesar salad was fresh with shaved parmesan cheese and croutons. The steak was on a pepper sauce (tasty) but was a bit tough! A very nice dining experience, a bit pricy but well worth it! PC
