Great hotel; well looked after

This hotel has a great location. The view of the water from our room and from the breakfast area was lovely. It’s also very well located, near groceries, a drug store, and restaurants.

The property is very well maintained and our room was very clean. It’s also chock full of amenities, like the toiletries, mini fridge and microwave, wine glasses and a corkscrew, 2 luggage racks, etc. the breakfast was great and just what we wanted. Plus our room had loads of floor space- I think the most we’ve encountered in a hotel. And a nice bonus was the assigned parking space beneath our room (double queen room).

We loved our stay!

The Vista is a wonderful motel. Immaculately maintained. Everyone on staff is highly accommodating. Very pleasant and attentive. Especially Anna, who is a wonderful chef, and provided us with very tasty breakfast choices. We’ve stayed in other local motels , but from now on, the Vista will be our only choice for our future annual visits. Thank you for a most memorable experience.

Great stay, location and price

My husband and I stayed at the Vista Motel in a ground floor double room for a weekend this summer. Our stay was great – no complaints. The room was clean, had an AC with ability to control your own temperature, and a private patio with a nice view of Good Harbor. All rooms had ocean views. The property was beautifully landscaped with a private heated pool. The location of the motel was very convenient. It was a 10 min walk to Good Harbor and 5 minute walk to Shaws, Stop&Shop, ice cream place and a liquor store. It was 5-10 minute drive to all restaurants and attractions we did. The staff was very friendly and there was complimentary breakfast which included pastries, fruit, juice or coffee. This place was great for the price and location compared to other hotels/airbnbs we looked at in the area. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Location with Awesome Ocean View

This was our first visit to Gloucester and “The Vista” however it will not be our last! Laura and her staff are awesome and provide customer service at the highest level. Waking up to the sunrise each morning from our room was such a breath of fresh air and a fabulous start to our day. Located outside of Gloucester it is a very short, easy, drive along the coastline line to downtown. It is also located just a short distance to the best ice cream venue in Gloucester! We are already looking forward to our return which will most certainly include a stay at “The Vista”!!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rooms were very clean. Great view. The area is quite expensive, it is easy to cook in the kitchen if you choose to. There are beautiful jelly fish on the right side of the ocean just over the bridge. Beach is carry in carry out.

We met the owner, who is a very nice and helpful gentleman.   The location on top  a hill makes for good viewing and picture taking.  They have a pool, but wasn't open for the season , yet.  Our next trip in May, we will enjoy the pool.

The view is lovely. It was not very busy when we were there but there was a nice continental breakfast available.

Les chambres sont beaucoup plus belle en vrai qu’en photo. C’est très propre et l’hôtel est très bien entretenu. La dame qui nous  m’accueillie fut souriante! gentille et très professionnelle.

Excellent staff, family friendly, superb continental breakfast, spaceous rooms for families with kids.  If you are seeking an affordable getaway for a family of five with three younger kids then this is the place to be, including the said eateries I noted,  you will have the most awesome experience here, every stay!
