Ed Sheeran shows his “Azizam” (the Persian word for My Dear) the view from Room 32
Just before The Vista was set to open for the 2025 season, the front desk received a call from a location scout inquiring about the property’s availability for a video shoot. The identity of the “pop star” involved was not revealed right away. Tia provided the scout and his team with a tour, and they promised to follow up. It turned out that Ed Sheeran and his crew fell in love with The Vista, and as they say, we “landed the gig.” On Saturday, March 29th, they arrived, and the back parking lot was filled with vehicles of all kinds. Numerous black SUVs and minivans pulled up, and Tia and I eagerly examined each one to see if Ed Sheeran was inside. We kept everything under wraps, as they had a private location—no fans, no crowds, and no paparazzi. So far, The Vista has made a brief appearance in Mr. Sheeran’s latest release, “Azizam.” The song, “Old Phone,” is the video they were filming, and we can’t wait to see the final result.
