Great value, easy free parking close to room. Room equipped with mini fridge, microwave, coffe pot/coffee/tea, and stove top. Breakfast provided was simple but delicious with a great view. The woman working the breakfast counter was so sweet. The grounds are kept immaculate.

Unfortunately, upon check in, we were informed the pool was closing that day for the season. It was fine, but wish we had been informed when booking.

Overall, highly recommend this property!!!

Another excellent stay at The Vista! We are so delighted to have discovered this seaside gem three years ago when our daughter entered college nearby. You can tell right away that the owners and the staff take great pride in their work – the rooms & grounds are super clean & well-maintained. In multiple visits over three years, every single staff person has been notably helpful and pleasant. The Vista is not new & fancy by city standards – but it has great character, everything is up-to-date, and we’ve had a wonderful experience on every visit. Bravo & thank you so much to the team at The Vista!

The Vista in Gloucester is up on a hill with a beautiful view of Good Harbor Beach, don’t forget the binoculars. We had a premium king on the upper floor, it featured a mini fridge, electric stove top, coffee maker, plates, silverware, microwave and kitchen sink and cabinet. Everyone who worked there was friendly, we go every year for our anniversary, it’s Great!!

We’ve been traveling to Gloucester for the last 20 years or so and usually stay at a hotel on the other side of the bridge which is closer to family. That hotel was booked for a wedding which is how we ended up at the Vista. My wife and I were both impressed with this facility as well as the staff. The rooms were large and our room even had a carport. The staff (Tia) was receptive to our requests and quick to respond to them. All in all, a delightful stay.

Very pleased with the cleanliness of our room, would stay again for sure. Loved that King Bed. The lady that worked at the breakfast window was awesome and very caring. She is a KEEPER.
