Fabulous stay on every level!

We were so pleasantly surprised at the Vista. It was the reverse of what you often see: a glitzy surface and a disappointment once you get inside. It is not luxury, but it is comfortable, a roomy room that is insanely clean and well maintained, ultra-convenient to everywhere, very reasonably priced, and all of the people working there are super nice and helpful. The pool is a nice bonus, and so is the beach proximity. The only thing I could take issue with is that the internet is kinda slow in the room, but take your laptop out on your private deck (!) and it improves, plus it’s a nicer place to work. Higly recommended!

Nice and clean motel like hotel

Very friendly people welcome the guests.

Room was spacy enough for five people.

Entire establishment very clean and in very good condition.

Location very nice with great view over the beach and ocean.

Two supermarkets in very close proximity.

Gloucester or Rockport easily accessible.

Only small downpoint, which goes for all US hotels: Air conditioning machines are constantly loud and too cold.

Home again at our favorite vacay

We can’t say enough of how much we love The Vista after coming here for 50 years. Besides being in the best location the host, Laura & her team couldn’t be more accommodating. Michael is either at the desk or ready to help with any problem as calm as could be is a gem. Priscilla at the desk is so welcoming. Either the beautiful heated pool, the yummy breakfast on their gorgeous patio, or the comfy quiet rooms will convince you to come back every year. Thank you Laura for another memorable visit.

Favoriet Gloucester Hotel

We love the Vista!! Walking distance to Good Harbor; a pool; rooms are spotless and have a small kitchenette and balconies! What’s not to love?? And, the people that work there are all so nice and welcoming! They also offer a free breakfast on a lovely patio.

We’ve been coming here for years, ever since our kids were toddlers and it just keeps getting better!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rooms were very clean. Great view. The area is quite expensive, it is easy to cook in the kitchen if you choose to. There are beautiful jelly fish on the right side of the ocean just over the bridge. Beach is carry in carry out.

We met the owner, who is a very nice and helpful gentleman.   The location on top  a hill makes for good viewing and picture taking.  They have a pool, but wasn't open for the season , yet.  Our next trip in May, we will enjoy the pool.

It is within walking distance to Good Harbor Beach and within about a mile of some great restaurants.

The view is lovely. It was not very busy when we were there but there was a nice continental breakfast available.

Les chambres sont beaucoup plus belle en vrai qu’en photo. C’est très propre et l’hôtel est très bien entretenu. La dame qui nous  m’accueillie fut souriante! gentille et très professionnelle.

Excellent staff, family friendly, superb continental breakfast, spaceous rooms for families with kids.  If you are seeking an affordable getaway for a family of five with three younger kids then this is the place to be, including the said eateries I noted,  you will have the most awesome experience here, every stay!
