Such a Hidden Gem the best staff going to come across in Gloucester always a warm and friendly smile from the owner to housekeeping the rooms are spacious compared to most hotels down in Gloucester clean updated the grounds are kept immaculate including a dog park for your loved ones incredible sunrises overlooking Good Harbor Beach I just can’t say enough I’m about to Vista Hotel and its personnel

We just stayed 6 days and 5 nights at the Vista in Gloucester, Ma. I looked at all the great reviews from past guest[s] of the Vista in hopes to find the words that would express our time there. I was looking for something unique. We agree with all that the Vista is a wonderful place. Great accommodations, great location and the staff from the Office to Housekeepers are very friendly. But what makes it unique we think is the Owner/Manager Laura Dow. Her kindness, informative approach made breakfast morning a pleasure. I guess the word we are looking for is unique. You don’t fin[d] this today. More businesses should follow her thinking.

I used to go to the Vista years ago and it still has the same charm as I remember 💕 – the room reminded me of days gone past with it’s spectacular view and the big picture window looking downward towards Good Harbor – though I live in Newburyport Gloucester will forever be in my heart as I’ve been going there ever since I was young with my brothers and sisters 💕💕💕 Loved the banana bread and other things offered for breakfast. Great job Vista! See you again soon!

My husband and I wanted to get away for a couple of days during my spring break from school. We chose the Vista based on its location from our house ( less than 4 hour drive)and the view. It was perfect for what we wanted. The morning walk to the beach was wonderful and the sunrise did not disappoint. The hotel was just opening for the season and the quiet was welcomed after a very busy Easter week. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to satisfy our seafood cravings. The Vista is close enough to the restaurants and shops ( less than 5 min drive) yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet and lovely ocean views. If that is what you are looking for, this is the place for you!
