We’ve been going to the VISTA for over 20 years now and have yet to have a bad experience.

Very nice location near Good Harbor Beach. Nice view. Accommodations good. Staff and manager outstanding.

We stayed in a premium room on the second floor. The view from the room and the balcony is breathtaking. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The room had an A/C unit but we preferred to leave the slider open for the fresh sea air. We have been driving by this place for years and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. We will be back.

The website does a good job of showing what the motel is like. We had room 9 which had an “obstructed view” but it was still an awesome view of the ocean. The whole place is beautiful and kept up in apple pie order. What the website cannot convey is the friendly and respectful people who run the hotel and who stay as guests. All of our neighbors were great. We traveled with our two dogs and everyone was happy to see them. People are quiet and the whole place is laid back and peaceful. We did go midweek after Labor Day, so maybe it’s livelier in high season. Lots of folks we met said they came year after year. It’s an easy walk to the beautiful beach. Other options in the immediate area looked too shabby or were too pricey. I was very happy staying at the Vista and I hope to return next summer. And if you want the best fried clams, go to J. T. Farham’s in Essex.
