My cousin and I stayed at The Vista recently for 2 nights. We LOVED everything about this place.

*The email and texting communication prior to our arrival

*The friendliness of ALL staff – from those that checked us in and chatted with us like we were old friends, the housekeeping staff, the staff who served breakfast and laughed with us, the staff we saw taking care of the grounds always smiled and offered a friendly hello or chatted about where we were fromShow more

*The rooms were neat and clean, the pool was beautifully taken care of with plenty of lounge chairs and a few umbrellas. The grounds were well manicured and we saw people leaf blowing the parking lot, hosing off the patios and even cleaning the fence around the pool

*The option to use the parking lot as a “home base” if we chose to arrive early on our arrival date or leave late on departure date

*The breakfast that was served while limited in options was delicious and so convenient

*The ice machine with bags available to fill your cooler – most hotels prohibit this, not encourage it!

*The short walk to Good Harbor Beach where we spent 8 glorious hours in the waves and sun

*Conveniently located to restaurants and grocery stores and the downtown

We can’t wait to return next summer!!!

Beautiful views and property. Room clean and comfy. The staff was helpful and friendly especially the morning breakfast server. the views from our clean and comfy room were beautiful . We had a dog friendly room which was wonderful. We had a wonderful view of Good Harbor Beach and the ocean. The motel is close and conveniently located to Gloucester’s beaches, shopping, restaurants and musts to see. We definitely recommend the Vista to all.

We greatly appreciate the hard-working staff at the Vista and for all that they do to take care of their visitors and their facilities. They are centrally located to everything that we want to do and see, their rates are reasonable for all that they offer, and we will continue to choose them every time we visit Gloucester!

Our 52nd year & wouldn’t think of going any other place for our Cape Ann vaca. The Vista has the best views, the best accommodations, the best heated pool, the best patio to enjoy a small continental breakfast serviced by the sweetest employees (Ana you’re awesome) the best office personnel to greet you & help w any questions (MC (((HUGS))) & housekeepers are sooo helpful. Rooms are comfy & quiet, balcony overlooking the pool & Good Harbor Beach. There are 3 different types of accommodations so let them know what your needs are. My wife and I, who live on the West Coast, have made it a tradition to come to The Vista every summer. This year we brought our son and his family to join us. We love The Vista’s comfortable rooms and old-fashioned hospitality. We enjoy the view of the ocean from our balcony and sitting by the pool, making friends with the other guests. And, of course, it’s only a 10-minute walk to Good Harbor Beach, and a short drive to some of the best seafood in the world.Show more
